Sweet on You Valentine's Day Cards

Transform Club Scrap's Sweet on You collection into sixteen Valentine's Day cards using Club Scrap card making formulas. You can visit the Club Scrap blog to see which ones were used.

Complete the cards in just a few easy steps:

1. Start by choosing a Club Scrap card making formula. Assign paper selections according to the "Gather List". 
2. Use the cutting diagrams on the back side of the card to trim papers. 
3. Trim Cutaparts included in the kit using the printed artwork as a guide.
4. Once your papers are cut, assemble each card according to the diagram.

For each card, select Cutapart artwork that fits the card style. Pre-cut photo mats can be trimmed for additional matting or die cut for embellishments.

The Love Frame Woodcut fits perfectly into the open space on the front of this matchbook style card. Creative trimming of the 12-inch long Cutapart produces the "All you need is" portion of the sentiment, which is cleverly placed over the journaling lines on the heart Cutapart.

Trim floral "love" border strip into two 5.5" sections. Adhere to near edge of tri-fold card. Add XOXO charm tied with a bit of ribbon.

When following the cutting diagrams on the back side of each card, be mindful of how you position the prints onto your trimmer. For example, when trimming the White Prints, be sure to rotate the paper so the larger heart cluster and the word "love" remain intact.

Mat the "love" panel with a white photo mat tied with champagne ribbon.

Separate "you're my favorite" from the 12-inch "Besides chocolate..." Cutapart. Trim strip to create a banner effect.

Frame a heart panel with a white photo mat tied with red ribbon.

Die cut the word "love" from a red photo mat, adhere to dotty border strip.

Add texture to the Pink panel with an embossing folder. 

Trim hearts from a red photo mat using a set of nesting dies. Add texture to the hearts by running them through a wood-grain embossing folder. Highlight the raised areas with Club Scrap Hybrid ink in Earth.
