Coffeehouse Shaker Cards

Happy National Coffee Day! Since Coffee is one of my favorite beverages, I thought I'd make some cards to celebrate.

Last week I shared a post on the Club Scrap blog with three brand-new card making formulas. There are tons of card samples and ideas - I encourage you to check it out!

I loved the shaker style cards from Deluxe Card Formula #10 so much, I made another set using the Coffeehouse collection.

Coffeehouse stickers fit into the shaker window perfectly. It can be fun finding little trinkets to fit inside the window. Sequins, mini chipboard shapes and small beads make great filler for shaker cards.

Decorate the red window panel with the coffee ring image and sentiment using Earth Hybrid ink.

If you don't have transparency film available to you, save clear plastic packaging from the recycle bin and trim to fit your needs.

Not every card has to "shake". The window is a fun dimensional element even without the transparency film and beads. The shaker frame panel "pops" when adhered with foam adhesive.

This frame panel has the same foam adhesive treatment as above, but I also added a bit of ribbon to the frame before sticking it down.

Happy crafting!
