Coming Up Roses Artist Trading Cards

I'm a regular participant in the monthly ATC swap on the Club Scrap Chat Facebook Group. I enjoy the challenge of creating 2-1/2 x 3-1/2" works of art inspired by a monthly kit theme. It's similar to designing a card, but in miniature.

These ATCs feature Club Scrap's April 2025 collection, Coming Up Roses. Since I utilize most of my kit supplies making pages and cards, I usually create my Artist Trading Cards with the monthly stamp sheet and Pack of Panels.

Create the background panel by adhering scrap paper strips from the April collection to a large piece of double-sided adhesive*. Once the adhesive sheet is filled with strips, trim any excess around the edges, and cut into 2.25x3.25" ATC panels. Nest the background panels onto 2.5x3.5" pieces of distressed corrugated cardboard (created from a well-loved Club Scrap pizza box).

Stamp the sentiment onto an Ivory scrap with Earth ink. Adhere to the background on an angle. Accent with a Silk Flower.

Each month we create nine ATCs to swap with other participants. The cards can all be the same, or different—it's the artist's choice. In this case, each card is unique due to the way the background panels were created.

We'd love to invite additional swappers to participate in the monthly Artist Trading Card Swap on the Club Scrap Chat group. I hope you'll consider joining us!
