Lavender Fields cards--with a twist.

I just love Club Scrap's May collection, Lavender Fields. I took some time to play with the card kit this week. The folds are so fresh and unique! I added my own twist to a couple of the card designs:

Ink sprig image stamp with purple, mist with water. Stamp multiple impressions onto tan panels to create a border along the bottom of the card.

Apply clear Nuvo Crystal Drops to flowers on the wreath border. Trim cutapart and a coordinating green panel using scalloped circle nesting dies.

Stamp sprig image in two different shades of purple ink onto tan panels, using misting technique above. Use waterbrush and green and purple watercolor crayons to create the flecked background. Trim buds from one side of flower sprig to create a flat surface for gluing. Adhere with bookbinding glue in a needle-tipped applicator. Nest "Happy Birthday" cutapart onto mini doily, attach to front left flap of card.

Succulents canvas tags coordinate beautifully with this collection. Trim cutapart sentiment and distress the edges. Use bookbinding glue to adhere to dark purple panel. Attach panel to green flap on front of card.

Use bookbinding glue in needle-tipped applicator to adhere leftover bud bits (trimmed from flower sprig above) to floral frame.

How will you personalize your Lavender Fields cards?
