Make the Wedding kit your own!

Club Scrap released the Wedding special edition page kit earlier this year. I love that it's customizable: Add four sheets of paper (two each of two different colors) to match your color scheme. Brilliant, right?

My bestie's daughter just gave birth to twin girls. Many of the sentiments included in the Wedding kit are about general love, not specifically "Mr. and Mrs." When assembling the pages, I simply skipped ones that were too marriage-specific. (You can always flip 'em to the plain side!)

Wedding Layout 1-2

For the first two pages, I swapped the Wedding border strips with some leftover Scandinavia Cutparts. The daisy image from the now extinct Oopsie Daisy collection creates a pair of fun embellishments. Just stamp, fussy-cut and color with coordinating pencils!

Wedding Layout 3-4
As far as color scheme goes, I added two sheets each of Scandinavia pink and Lavender Fields purple. Colored pencils were used to fill select artwork with color to match the papers.

Wedding Layout 5-6
Since I'll be giving the finished pages to the parents, I left all of the text boxes blank so they can journal in their own words.

Wedding Layout 7-8
Purple ribbon (from my stash) and self-adhesive mini pearls (Woven Strands) add a feminine touch.

Don't be afraid to look at your Club Scrap kits in a whole new light! It just takes a bit of creativity to customize them to fit your needs.

Happy scrapping!
