Lock & Key Greeting Cards

While planning my visit to the "Do Your Own Thing" Retreat at Silver Birch Ranch, I had to decide which photos, kits and supplies to bring to work on over the weekend. My friend Rita and I tried to coordinate a bit so neither of us would have to bring every tool we own. We also wanted to work on some kits together if we could.

One of those kits was Lock & Key from October 2013. While she made pages, I tackled my Lock & Key Club Stamp kit.

I love using Tricia's Assembly Line Card Making (ALCM) instructions. The only caveat is she didn't start creating the ALCM for the Club Stamp kits until 2014.

Rather than start from scratch, I used one of my favorite ALCM formulas: Oopsie Daisy (July 2014). By simply substituting prints for prints, and plains for plains, I was able to create thirteen gorgeous Lock & Key cards!

I'm really happy with how they turned out! Have you ever tried the Assembly Line Card Making method? I'd love to hear what you think!

  3. I have used these ALCM directions on more than any other! At least 6 or 7 different kits I can think of right off the bat- love it! Great cards!

  4. These look great with the other formula! I love trying formulas with older formula-less kits!
